Ecumenical Food Pantry

Acrylic mural painted on 8.5x16 ft cement basement wall for the Millis Ecumenical Food Pantry.

The Millis Ecumenical Food Pantry has been in continuous operation since November of 1991. The mission of the pantry is to provide 3 days of non-perishable food items to our clients every 2 weeks. I was commissioned by the Food Pantry to design and paint this mural to brighten the space and highlight the town’s agricultural heritage.

Little Shadow (Millis Recreation Dept: Mental Health Awareness Month: 2021)

Acrylic mural painted on a 8x20 ft metal shipping container. This design was a part of Project Smile, an initiative of the Town of Millis to spread awareness during Mental Health Awareness Month in May.

I created this design inspired by my own experiences with chronic depression. I think of the symbol of the umbrella to represent a space of comfort and solace in the midst of turmoil.
